Twig H. Stancil

Twig H. Stancil, a long time resident of Clearwater Beach, MD, passed away peacefully at his home on January 29, 2023. He was born on March 1, 1940, to the late William and Lora (Taylor) Stancil in Charlotte, North Carolina. Twig enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending as much time as possible with his family. Nothing made him happier than knowing his great grandkids were coming to visit. Twig is survived by his loving daughters Lori Hartlove and husband Ed, Audrey Mitchell and husband Eric, Stephanie Dye and husband John, and Lisa Stancil. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife Ruth Stancil, his son Steve Stancil Sr., his daughter Pamela Ruth Stancil, his grandson “Eddie boy” Hartlove, five sisters, and four brothers. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
