On Sunday, November 13, 2016, Roger J. Siebers, son of Henry G. Siebers and Henrietta Emmers, beloved father of Richard Siebers (wife Margaret), Steven Siebers (wife Carin) and Diane Nelson; devoted grandfather of Corey Nelson, Ashley Little, Megan Siebers, Lauren Nelson, Allyson Luttrell, Alyssa Siebers and Aimee Siebers passed away. He is survived by his sisters Mary Carnot, Ruth Bewick and Germaine Shillcox; preceded in death by several loving brothers.
Roger’s interests included photography, golfing, reading, fishing and taking walks. He also enjoyed tinkering with things that needed to be fixed and his most recent nemesis was an old Magellan GPS unit.
Roger was born and raised in Wisconsin and lived in Virginia, South Carolina and Maryland. He also lived for a time in Germany.
On Friday, December 2, 2016, Roger J. Siebers will be interred at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032. Arrival time 1:00PM, services will include military honors. The family welcomes friends at the cemetery but will be holding a private gathering after the service.
