Robert Norwood McCormick (1946–2026)

Robert “Bob” McCormick, aged 80, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, after being surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 28, 1946, the son of the late John and Mary McCormick. He resided primarily in Catonsville, MD. Bob’s life was a testament to love, family, and faith. Most important to Bob was his family. Bob was the father of one daughter, Michelle McCormick Peters of Hendersonville, TN, and two sons, Rob McCormick of Hampstead, MD, and Chad McCormick of Rockville, MD. Bob was the grandfather of eight (Heather, James, Jake, Kassie, Robbie, Aubrey, Connor, and Caleb) and a great-grandfather of three (Hailey, Levi, and Hazel). He firmly believed in the strength of family and dedicated his life to creating a loving home. His legacy of love for his family will continue.

A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM and 5:00 - 7:00 PM at BAILEY Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PA. On Thursday, April 30, 2026, a public visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 - 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lorraine Park Cemetery, arrival time 1:00 PM.
