On Monday, August 12, 2024, Nellie Jewell Hugel passed away in Baltimore, MD surrounded by her loving family. Nellie is survived by her loving sons Thomas Theodore Hugel, Jr., Michael Wayne Hugel, Sr. (fiancée Kathy), Larry Joe Hugel; loving daughter Brooke Hope Lyndsay Grossmann (husband Eric Grossmann, II); loving grandchildren Bryan Scott Hugel (fiancée Angel), Michael Wayne Hugel, Jr. (wife Candice), Zachary Ryan Hugel, Kristin Nicole Heitzer, Amber Lee Hugel, Delilah Louise Grossmann, Raelynn Hope Marie Grossmann; devoted great-grandchildren Shayla Nikole Hugel, Braylin Skye Hugel, Jayce Layne Heitzer, Camdyn Naomi Hugel, Colton Thomas Hugel, Cannon Ryan Hugel and Eliana Ruth Hugel; beloved siblings Emily Reynolds and Walter Bruce Stowers. Nellie is preceded in death by her devoted husband Thomas Theodore Hugel, Sr.; loving siblings Lewis Arthur Stowers, Anna Mae Petrakas, Thelma Lucille Brady, Evelyn Mattie Christian, Billy Joe Stowers, John Sherman Stowers and Reba June Rodney. 

A public visitation will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 3:00pm-7:00pm at BAILEY Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PA. Interment will take place at a later date, at the Stowers Family Cemetery in Big Creek, Logan County, West Virginia.
