Lucy M. Reed (nee Caskey)

Lucy was born to Lonnie and Cora Caskey (nee Mullins) on November 10, 1929 in Hanging Rock, Ohio. She was the third of eight children. Her family later moved to Baltimore, Maryland where she met her future husband, William I. Reed. They were married in September of 1948. They had five children. She loved the mountains of West Virginia so they bought property and built a retirement home. She retired from Kopp-Flex in November of 1991 and moved to Paw Paw, West Virginia. She is survived by her children: Linda Davis, Cora Perry, Regina Habicht, William Reed, and Teresa Husser; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, William I. Reed; 3 grandchildren; her parents Lonnie and Cora; her sisters Jean King, Roberta Carver, Sylvia Winters; and her brothers Henry Caskey, Jonas Caskey and Joe Don Carver.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday. March 10th at 12:30 p.m. at Nichols Bethel United Methodist Church, 1239 Murray Road, Odenton MD 21113.
