Kathleen Ann Cavanaugh

On Sunday, August 18, 2024, Kathleen Ann Cavanaugh (nee Kazmerski) passed away peacefully at her home in Pasadena, MD surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen was born to John Kazmerski and Kathleen Grace Kazmerski (nee Buck) of Riviera Beach, MD. Kathleen is survived by her beloved grandchildren Shane Cavanaugh (Grace) and Carly Cavanaugh; Sister in law Margaret Kazmerski; loving niece Caitlin Kazmerski and her loyal best friend and companion, Lucy, her black lab. Kathleen is preceded in death by her devoted husband Joseph Cavanaugh; loving sons Shane Cavanaugh and Samuel “Sammy” Cavanaugh; brother Michael Kazmerski.

 Kathy devoted 40 plus years to her career in Federal Service. She was very well traveled, she especially loved her weekend getaways to Ocean City. Kathy enjoyed arts and crafts and was very talented in her work with ceramics, needle work and macrombe. Kathy was always making crafts for the holidays. There wasn’t a holiday that wasn’t loved. She was connoisseur of good books and enjoyed reading. She was a huge animal lover, and to especially her grand pup, Lucy.

  A public visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at BAILEY Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PA. We will be having a celebration of life luncheon Saturday, August 24th, from 12:00-3:00pm at Romano’s at 6905 Ritchie Highway Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
