DUNGAN, KARL 

On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, Karl Dungan passed away in Glen Burnie, MD. Karl is preceded in death by his parents and brother Bernhart Dungan (wife Mary). Karl is survived by his devoted wife Karen (nee Abend) Dungan; loving son Karl Dungan; beloved daughter Brandy Curran (husband Christopher); devoted brothers Weldon Dungan and Michael Dungan; and loving granddaughters Khloe, Courtney, Kiley, and Caroline. Karl was a member of the Ferndale Community Center and enjoyed making baskets for the holidays, going to dances with the community. Karl was also a member of the American Legion Post 40. Karl was also a Veteran of Foreign Wars #160. Karl was a US Marine in Vietnam and retired from the US Army Transportation 949th in 1989. Karl was also a member of the Old Tugboaters Society.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 27, 2020, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at BAILEY Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PA. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at 8:00 am at BAILEY Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PA.  Interment will follow to Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032, arrival time 9:15 am. 

In compliance with the state of Maryland COVID-19 regulations, all those in attendance are required to wear a mask upon entry to the funeral home. Under the current regulations, only 10 people will be allowed in the funeral at one time.
