VEST, JAMES G. 

On Friday, September 3, 2021, James Gregory Vest passed away in Baltimore, Maryland. James is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Vest; loving mother Dorothy Gantt (husband Charles); devoted son Brian Vest (fiancée Ashley); loving sister Diana Goddard (husband David); grandchild Joss Solomon and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. James is preceded in death by his father Ernest Vest, and brother David Gantt. 

James enjoyed football, horse racing, poker, Nascar and participating in his social club, the 89ers. Duckpin Bowling was also one of James’ favorite activities as he carried a 150 average during the height of professional bowling career. 

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at BAILEY Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PA. Interment will be private. 

A brief funeral service will be held between 6:00-8:00PM visitation to honor and reflect on James’ life.
