WILLIAMSON, HELEN FAYE
Was born on August 26, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Willie Lee Williamson and Ophia Aline Williamson (Davis). She went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 20, 2021 in Linthicum, MD.
Helen grew up in Riverdale, MD, the baby sister of Mildred Williamson Fain and brother William.
She was educated in Prince George’s County Public Schools and graduated from DuVal High School in 1965. Helen received secretarial training before going to work at Washington Gas Light Company in Washington, DC where she worked for many years before she retired and moved to Baltimore, MD to be close to her church family and friends at Faith Tabernacle Church.
In January 2002, Helen went to work for Anne Arundel County Public Works, where she was highly esteemed and beloved by her co-workers. She was still actively employed there at the time of her death at age 73 and was planning to retire this year.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willie & Ophia Williamson, sister Mildred Williamson Fain of Campbellsville, KY, and brother William Williamson of Tallahassee FL.
She leaves to cherish her memory, nephews Paul Fain, David Fain, and his wife Cathy of Kentucky.

Services for Helen Faye Williamson will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Faith Tabernacle Church 2422 W. Patapsco Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230. A public viewing will be held from 10:00-10:30AM; funeral service will be held from 10:30-11:30AM. Interment will follow to Fort Lincoln Cemetery 3201 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722, arrival time 1:00PM.
