SWAIN, ALLAN D. “Poppy”

 On July 3rd, 2021, Allan Dale “Poppy” Swain passed away in Baltimore, MD. Poppy is survived by his loving wife Deborah “Debbie” Swain; beloved daughter Denyel Bryant; devoted brother Jimmy Swain (partner Gale); loving sisters Carolyn Martin (husband Roy), Cheryl Berardo (husband Tony), and Charlene Janson (husband Jerry); and his beloved granddaughter Tiffany Mayne. Poppy is preceded in death by his devoted parents James “Jimmy” Swain and Mary Jo Swain (nee Lucas), and loving brother Kenny Swain.

Poppy loved to watch car racing, going crabbing, and he loved to spend time relaxing on the beach and taking care of his granddaughter. Poppy really enjoyed watching episodes on the History Chanel that discussed the conspiracy theories of aliens. Poppy will be missed, and so will his infectious personality and his love for life. 

A memorial gathering will be held at BAILEY Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PA, on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, from 3:30-4:30 pm.
