LANCASTER, BERNICE

On Sunday, February 4, 2018, Mrs. Bernice Lancaster passed away in Baltimore Highlands, MD. Bernice is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Lancaster, Jr.; survived by her devoted children Raymond Lancaster III (wife Carole), Lori Blockston (husband Frank) and Christopher Lancaster (wife Jennifer); 3 brothers and 2 sisters; loving grandchildren Michael Lancaster (wife Jeannie), Raymond Lancaster IV, Christopher Lancaster, Jr., Justin Lancaster, Ryan Blockston and Ashley Blockston; beloved great-grandchildren Lily, Gracie, Isabella and Mackenzie. 

Bernice was a honorary life member of the English Consul Vol. Fire Department, and a member of the association in Baltimore Highlands, MD for many years. Bernice also belonged to the American Legion Post 195, the Moose Lodge in Glen Burnie, MD and served as the treasurer of the Baltimore Highlands Recreation Council in the 1970's-80's. Bernice worked for Baltimore County Public Schools as a substitute teacher for many years, later she began working for Dr. Karipineni for a number of years before retiring to spend time with her family. 

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at BAILEY Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PA. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home, interment will follow to Meadowridge Memorial Park 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075. Arrival time 11:30 am.
